Diabetes: Improved Glycemic and Cardiovascular Parameters in Type 2 Diabetic Patients on a High Nutrient Density Diet.
This is a retrospective case series, looking at the potential efficacy of the HND (high nutrient dense) diet for participants who are compliant. Though further study is needed, the results were encouraging: 62% of the participants became non-diabetic (HbA1C of less than 6.0%), a mean decrease in HbA1C of 2.35% and a reduction in the mean number of drugs used from 4 to1.
